The tradition of jazz is alive and well in the new generation of musicians which includes Gerald Clayton. Over his budding career, Clayton has either been the lead, or was featured on, 19 albums, won second place at the 2006 Thelonius Monk Institute of Jazz Piano Competition and received three Grammy Award nominations. Influenced by
his father, jazz bassist and composer John Clayton, Gerald is making a name all his own.
